About BlueCana

Steve Gilbert and Roberta Holbrook are BlueCana. The name is a blending of just two of the music styles we love – Blues and Americana.

Steve Gilbert has played in several rock bands over the years, and his real passion for playing the guitar has always been rooted in acoustic music, primarily Blues, Folk and Americana. Roberta Holbrook followed her music dream early with a successful career on the road singing and playing in clubs. She is pleased once again to be focusing on playing music full-time. Together with sweet harmonies, guitars, and keyboards, Steve & Roberta (BlueCana) keep the audience engaged as they perform a variety of songs that include Americana, Blues, Folk, Classic Rock and more. Steve and Roberta agree that the Denver area has a strong family of welcoming, generous, supportive and talented musicians and they are grateful for the sense of community they have found here.
